the breakfast was large for what was on offer with homemade jam, very delicious meat plus freshly boiled egg.

The room was both modest and well furnished with 1 large double bed, we loved it. Our hotel was in a particularly good and unbeatable location in the island of Lindau😀👍

I recently stayed at this hotel and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. the location was fantastic, tucked away in a charming little alley, providing a peaceful retreat from the bustling city center. Secondly, the staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The rooms were basic, but clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed and a lovely view to wake up to. Lastly, the breakfast, although limited in options, had some delicious homemade marmalades that added a delightful touch to my morning meal.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was more than okay, with no major issues.

First, many of the other reviews have commented about the unfriendliness and even "nastiness" of the owner. I must say, the hotel has either been sold or we dealt with someone else because the staff we dealt with were very friendly, helpful and seemed very intent on making our stay comfortable. The gentleman was the "owner" an I found him to be very eager and concerned about our stay. Now, as to the hotel... our room was a "family room" down in the basement. It was very basic and very "no frills". The shower was surpringly spa-like but towels weren't refreshed and the beds weren't comfortable. Typical for the area, there was no a/c and basement rooms have tiny ceiling level windows so it was miserably hot. The hotel should invest a few Euros in fans. (I asked - they have none). Although I would say the staff worked hard to serve breakfast and seemed concerned that we were happy, good service can't make up for bad or limited food. By Lindau standards, the rate was cheap and so if you expect budget accomodation, you'll be fine.

During my Christmas stay, I enjoyed the free welcome drink and complimentary breakfast at the hotel. the hotel's location was also perfect as it was close to major attractions that were worth exploring. I loved the cozy room that was comfortable and ideal for relaxing.

the facilities were outdated and in need of some renovations. the parking area was not secure, which made me concerned about the safety of my rental car.

Room is in the basement and a bit smelly when we check in. Breakfast is just so so.

The staff. They were very friendly, helpful, attentive, and accommodating. The island has a beautiful old town and the harbor and all its surrounding cafes were just a 10 minute stroll away.

Spending xmas at this hotel was a wonderful experience. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, always ready to help. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the city center and very close to the lake. The view from our room was amazing, we could see the snow falling on the trees and the lake. The spa facilities were a bonus, we enjoyed the sauna and the massage room.

The room was a bit small for two people and we had some trouble finding a parking spot nearby. The towels were a bit old and small.

The breakfast at Hotel Seerose was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. I especially loved the homemade chocolates that were offered by the friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable, and the shower with multiple shower heads was a unique and enjoyable experience. The location of the hotel was convenient, with good restaurants nearby and easy access to public parking. Despite a few minor drawbacks, I would recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Lindau. I had a great experience at Hotel Seerose.

excellent value and location. owner was very friendly and helpful. apartment was clean and spacious. value was excellent--probably best on the island on lake constance. we would rent there again. parking was also very convenient and free at parking lot 3. very safe enviornment and the city of course was spectacular with our apartment just steps away from all city activity..never had to move the car.

Great location, comfortable, secure and very close to everything on island.

WiFi reception was marginal on top floors, however only minor issue. Very good recepton in downstairs public areas. Missed having tea/coffee making facilities in room, but this is fairly standard for German hotels.
